Your donations support our mission to develop and present new artistic work.
In light of the current COVID-19 situation, donations help us support the community and ensure that DP emerges from this crisis able to continue bringing together visionary artists and adventurous audiences.
We’re always looking for all kinds of volunteers to help us with all kinds of tasks: ushering at shows, distributing marketing materials, simple maintenance around the space, load-ins for shows, and more.

Dixon Place welcomes in-kind gifts — contributions of goods such as equipment, computer hardware and software, books, artifacts, as well as services and skills like carpentry/facility maintenance, graphic design, event planning, and much more. While in-kind donations are often received from businesses and corporations, individual donors also contribute many types of in-kind gifts.

Help Dixon Place continue far into the future with a planned gift.
Planned giving offers the opportunity to be a permanent part of Dixon Place’s artistic mission. There are a lot of ways to benefit DP in your estate planning, including bequests, charitable trusts, life insurance policies, retirement plans, and charitable gift annuities.
There are also multiple tax advantages with planned gifts, and some donated assets can even continue to provide extra income for you. DP encourages you to check with your attorney, tax professional, or investment advisor to find out the best ways for you to give.
DP’s full legal name is Open Channels New York, Inc., dba Dixon Place. It is a 501(c)(3) public charity and is qualified under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code to receive gifts, grants, and contributions which are deductible for Federal income tax purposes.
