Rentals
Live performances return to Dixon Place. Those who are vaccinated are strongly encouraged to wear masks, however, those who are not vaccinated are required to.
COVID-19 compliance is mandatory. Renters must return Health Screening Forms for cast & crew the day before production begins. A certified COVID-19 Compliance Officer must be present throughout the rental period. DP will provide daily sign-in sheets and a contactless thermometer. Dixon Place’s theater is a uniquely designed, flexible space with state-of-the-art technology. The bi-level structure accommodates seating for up to 130 people with a maximum occupancy of 150 people.

The Space

The Theater may be rented for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, rehearsals, auditions, performances, and other events at a reasonable cost. Dixon Place’s Lounge, with a full liquor license, has flexible seating (seats approximately 40; legal occupancy 94) with portable small raised stage. The space provides an intimate setting for a party, performance or other special occasions.

For rentals of private parties, performances or special events the lounge will be closed to the public, based on your desired time frame. Regular hours are: Monday through Thursday, 6pm – midnight; Friday and Saturday, 6pm – 1am, sometimes featuring performances. During these hours you may celebrate any occasion without a charge (bring 10 or more people, and you will receive free drinks for yourself all night, but please call ahead). The studio is available for rehearsals, auditions, readings with invited audience, classes, workshops, etc., Monday through Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm. Rental after 6:00pm may be available depending on the nature of usage. Please note that the entrance door of Dixon Place is ALWAYS locked during the day. For large groups and auditions, a door person must be provided to receive all members of the group.

This program serves independent artists, theater/dance companies, and non-profit service organizations who need affordable space to showcase work and is best suited for folks who want a full service location. Space is currently available for live stream or recorded performance.
